The principals of Airstream Energy bring extensive experience in a wide variety of areas within the energy and telecommunications industries. Collectively, the leadership team has almost 30 years at Fortune 1000 companies, over 15 years of experience in the energy industry, and has participated in the successful development or acquisition of more than 2,000 Megawatts (MW) of operating energy projects. Summary profiles of the leadership team at Airstream Energy are provided below: Cameron S. Epard Prior to forming AirStream, Mr. Epard was Director of Development at Peoples Energy Resources Corp. in Tempe, Arizona. At Peoples Energy, Mr. Epard was lead developer of the Valencia Energy Facility near Belen, New Mexico, a 280 MW gas-fired peaking project. Upon successful completion of all major development activities for Valencia, Peoples Energy sold the project to Public Service Company of New Mexico. Phase I of the project started construction in 2007 and is schedule to achieve commercial operation in 2008. Mr. Epard was a Manager of Development at Duke Energy North America in Houston, Texas before joining Peoples Energy. While at Duke, Mr. Epard led and/or participated in several power development and acquisition projects including two 600 MW combined cycle projects now operating in Maricopa County, Arizona and Luna County, New Mexico. In addition, Mr. Epard was also a Senior Analyst at Duke performing energy market analyses and project financial valuations. Prior to joining Duke Energy, Mr. Epard was a Financial Analyst at Black and Veatch’s Project Development Advisory Services Group in Overland Park, Kansas. Mr. Epard’s responsibilities included production costing simulations, generation expansion planning, system energy and demand forecasts, and power project feasibility studies. Mr. Epard was also a Project Engineer in the Chemical Engineering Department where he designed power plant water treatment systems. Mr. Epard graduated from Kansas State University with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. Kenton Epard Prior to AirStream, Mr. Epard worked for Level 3 Communications in Broomfield, Colorado. At Level 3, Mr. Epard was Director of Planning and Analysis for the Content Markets Group, which provided communications services to the large internet content companies, who operate some of the largest data centers in the world. At Level 3, Mr. Epard developed extensive experience in resource and capacity planning, process definition and improvement, demand forecasting, financial modeling, project valuation, market analysis, performance measurement, and project team management. Prior to Level 3 Communications, Mr. Epard was a Senior Product Manager at Texas Instruments in the Broadband Communications Group focusing on development DSL semiconductor solutions. As a Product Manager, Mr. Epard developed product requirements, product valuations, market segmentations, and product strategies. In this role he led and participated in cross functional teams located across the globe. Mr. Epard has an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and is Cum Laude graduate of Kansas State University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. |
